Blythefield Country Club

Blythefield Country Club’s clubhouse expansion and renovation added 25,000 SF of new dining, banquet, pro shop, locker room, kitchen, and aquatic facilities to one of West Michigan’s most historic private clubs. Construction Simplified was brought in as Owner’s Representative mid-project to refine the vision and budget.

In a focused six-month effort, we realigned scope and vision with the member-led board. We redesigned layouts, eliminated unnecessary costs, and worked to deliver a $17 million top notch facility. Our focus on efficiency, collaboration, and long-term value saved the club about $6 million while keeping its history and improving the member experience.

As the owner's representative on the Blythefield project, we balanced respect for the club’s rich traditions with innovative solutions, we helped modernize the space while still preserving its legacy.
