COMING SUMMER 2027: Abode West Fulton
Location
Grand Rapids, MI
Project Size
83.65K SF
Project Value
24.5M
Coming summer 2027, Abode West Fulton will be a four-story, 109-unit mixed-use development that brings new housing, retail, and energy to one of Grand Rapids' fastest-evolving corridors. As both the Development Partner and Construction Manager, Construction Simplified is leading the $24.5 million project from vision to completion, transforming the former Adobe Mexican Kitchen site and an adjacent parcel on Seward Avenue into a thoughtfully designed destination for residents, businesses, and the surrounding community.
The development will include 5,240 square feet of street-level retail across three suites, a 53-space parking lot, and hospitality-inspired amenities throughout. Its location puts it directly across the street from Construction Simplified's own offices on West Fulton, steps from Grand Valley State University's downtown campus.
Abode West Fulton builds on Construction Simplified's development on this corridor, following The Annex and The Anthony, and represents a new chapter for West Fulton and a model for future urban development.
A Vision for West Fulton
"This is the gateway to West Fulton, what I would say is an under-served or under-attentioned area coming out of downtown Grand Rapids."

The Transformation Begins
Watch as the former Adobe building comes down, marking the first visible step in transforming this site into a new mixed-use development that will bring housing, retail, and new energy to the West Fulton corridor. This isn't just demolition. It's the beginning of what's next.
