For Dietrich Orchards, harvest season doesn't wait for construction. When the orchard needed to expand its apple processing and packaging facility in Conklin, Michigan, the challenge was clear: deliver a 42,400 SF addition within a three-and-a-half-month construction window while keeping existing operations running.
Our involvement began in the early budgeting stages, working closely with Dietrich Orchards to develop a plan around the owner's needs and resources. With the orchard managing its own excavation and equipment procurement, our team focused on the concrete work, Butler pre-engineered metal building, and membrane roofing.
Working alongside Butler Manufacturing and Classic Engineering, careful coordination and strategic sequencing kept construction moving on an accelerated schedule, ensuring the expanded facility was ready to support the demands of harvest season.
